BOG for lunch - what do you think

I managed to grab reservations for 2 different days... Sunday & thursday.

I was originally going to drop one , but the more i think about it , I may just keep them both .

Would love to hear everyone's thoughts on doing BOG lunch more than once a trip.

Could ya'll recommend a different CS at MK & would love to know what your go-to dish is there.

also - we are on the dining plan... do BOG have alcoholic options at lunch?

BOG Lunch is much better than breakfast and more affordable than dinner. But idk if I would do it more than once - the menu, while good, is slightly limited.

I like Columbia Harbor House. The fish is pretty good, and the salmon is a great healthy option. The sandwiches are also pretty popular!

I also like Pecos Bill because of the toppings bar for the TexMex food!

I would keep it. If you preorder, all you do is check-in, confirm and "pay" for your meal, then sit down and wait while they bring everything to you. It's a relaxing QS meal in a lovely environment.

BoG does have alcoholic selections at breakfast and lunch; it's the ONLY quick serve in MK that does, so you can easily maximize your QS credits.

This is going to be very unpopular, but you can always cancel the second ADR after you've eaten there on the first day if you decide you don't want to do it again.

Sorry to hijack the thread but since the user mentioned about preordering above...if I’m on the dinning plan can you preorder and use a qs credit before you arrive at wdw?

Yes you can preorder but you don't get "charged" till you check in at restaurant and they review your order with you

Plus be our guest lunch is my favorite meal in Disney lol. I love the Turkey sandwich with fries. Keep it!

I think on BOG is a great QS lunch option. It’s a nice atmosphere, they bring your meal to you the food IMO is better than any other QS IMO. Its our go to lunch in MK. The breakfast, especially if you can get a pre park opening ADR, is more expensive and a good use of a QS credit on the DDP. Always preorder, you will be sent to a much smaller line to verify and pay, then you can have a seat!

We did BOG lunch twice last trip on Sunday and Thursday. It allowed me to try the new chicken dish and have the French dip. Alcohol is available at lunch.

I'd do it. It's a good lunch. The wait is minimal if you pre-order. And even with a limited menu, as long as there's more than one item to choose from, you have enough variety (and I'd be happy to eat a French dip more than one day for lunch, lol!)

BOG is my favorite quick service in MK and we always go there at least once a trip. I'd keep both reservations if it works for you. I think there's enough variety to go twice and honestly I wouldn't pick any of the other QS restaurants over it- especially if you are on the dining plan.
