Thanks to those who have responded with understanding. No worries it all worked out and we have been having a good time.
Some people are so defensive about Disney ...it's kinda funny.

No way that we'd let a $24 donut ruin a trip.

Also - the ride cost less than $10...probably like $7. If you've never used Uber before you can get a code from most users for your first ride up to $15 free. I can gladly share my code, or if you have a friend that uses it you can ask them 8o) I used it a few times on our trip in April - taking it to Dis Springs was really helpful.

For an 8am BOG what time do you guys suggest catching an uber from the Yacht Club? Thank you.

What time do you suggest leaving if driving yourself? We will have a rental car but figured we'd be catching the bus.. But not sure I want to be at the bus stop that early!

Yes. We Uber around WDW all the time. Most trips are under $10.
