BOG Early Park Opening ADR

I would say there is value to getting in to the park leisurely, and being able to ride the Mine Train without waiting.

Definitely agree.

These 2 "added values" make the Breakfast a good deal IMHO.

I mean it's possible to ride SDMT a couple of times, hit Pan and be headed to Big Thunder shortly after 9:00 AM with Breakfast completed!

I didn't get the croissant doughnut, but I enjoyed my $20 open-faced bacon and egg sandwich. Thank you for your witty comment though.

I had the open-faced sandwich, too (and have no desire to try the cronut). It was good, although it could have been warmer. My daughter had the eggs florentine and thought it was really good. We thought it was worth the price when we took into consideration the overall lack of people in the park, being at some rides early, and the venue, which is beautiful.

I would have to agree or at least this is what I am hoping. Last time we got there at rope drop and my husband almost had a panic attack. If we gain nothing else but walking into the park with a few 100 People rather than a few thousand than this will be worth it for us!!!

The issue you have is just because MK opens at 9:00 on your date today it won't mean it will stay at 9:00.
They move it to 8:00 AM a lot.
Just be prepared for that

Yeah this is the one thing that has me concerned. The getting in early definitely adds a lot of value, without that I don't think it's worth paying for an overpriced breakfast while missing out on shorter lines. I am watching the opening time on the date of my early ADR closely to see if they change it. As long as they change it ahead of time and I have time to cancel without a penalty, I will be fine. If they change it the day before and try to charge me for cancellation within 24 hours I will have a few choice words for them.

Youonly need to have one person show up and dine to NOT be charged the no show fee You have to order at least one
Thats exactly what I was wondering. My DD doesnt really eat much for breakfast and i was hoping we could still book the reservation even though all 4 of us wont be eating.
Thanks!

We are a party of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids 4&1yr) but have a reservation for 3. Would they still let us in? I could not get a reservation for 4 and also we are not big breakfast eaters. Can we order just 1 adult and 1 child breakfast to share?

Understandable but I feel I have a good chance of our date staying at a 9:00am opening since the day after our date is a EMH day with an opening of 8:00am

If it is PPO, they will not let all 4 in on an ADR for 3.

Not sure if the baby would be part of head count? I think it would be fine, but I truly have no idea. There are no tables for 3, just 2, 4 and larger so I don't know how it would make a difference. As far as meals, I ate there last week and me and DH split the open face sandwich. With the pastry plate, it was more than enough for 2 people.

If we have a ressie for 4 and share two meals will we be charged $10 per person for the other two? How does this work?

Also, what is this pastry plate you all keep referring to? Is that like rolls they bring out before the meal (like Texas Road House) or something you order?

We have done lunch their several times in past trips so I assume drinks are the same. Coffee same set up? Can I just purchase coffee for my meal?

You will not be charged for those that don't order. That is for when the entire party is a no show
The meal comes with a plate of pastries and muffins. They are just that, pastries and muffins. They are included with each order but put all on 1 plate

Last Wednesday we had an 8:10 a.m. reservation at BOG. We arrived at MK just before 7:30. They started letting everyone in just before 7:50. We were out of BOG by 8:45-8:50. Walked to 7D and got on in 15 minutes. I think we just missed the rope drop crowd. We then went to Peter Pan and it was a 30 minute wait. An 8/10 crowd that day.

2 adults and 2 children was about $75 and they do not accept a tip. Well worth the cost especially since we were spending $30-35 for breakfast at the resort. Food was not as good as dinner at BOG but decent.

Thank you! I just looked at the online menu (not the preorder menu) and I didn't see fountain sodas or coffee as an option but sure it's available.

If we want to preorder our meal and I just want coffee, is this an option to order in the preordered menu? How do I get my plastic cup if I have preordered and bypass the order line?

BOG drinks are like at a resort QS, they are self serve. The cups are out there if I recall right.

That's my experience as well. Approx 2 weeks ago I had an 8:20 am ADR for BOG with a 9 am park opening. I arrived (by bus from POP) approx 7:15 am, got in the ADR line (it's on the far L hand side once you clear bag check) and once they confirmed my ADR, I waited in line for 1/2 hr & then they let everyone in regardless of ADR time at approx 7:40 am. I enjoyed a beautiful open walk up main street as I ended up being the first strolling up as others stopped for photos of the castle. I was the first into BOG and after some computer glitches (I had pre-ordered but the computer I was at wasn't syncing with my DP on my magic band so a CM had to clear it up), I was seated in the West Wing. I ordered the eggs florentine and it was a bit bland. Another time I would go for the open faced poached egg sammy as it looked incredible. The eggs looked firm and not too ooey-gooey. Other tables were enjoying the croque madame and if you like your eggs soft/runny than that would be the one to choose. I was finished by 8:30 am and in line for 7DMT. I rode it 3x in a row as the CM just kept waiving us through the FP line. I then lined up with the crowds for the regular line posted at 30 mins immediately upon regular park opening. So not too shabby. Peter Pan was down that morning so 4x through 7DMT was a great value for BOG breakfast. I had free dining so an excellent value for 1 CS credit. Would I pay OOP for it? I don't know. If you didn't have a FP for 7DMT or had a child/traveling companion desperate to ride, then I would pay the $20 plus and share a meal. The mini muffin/croissant tray that you get with your entree makes that doable. Before my trip, I was actually thinking of cancelling my ADR thinking it was going to be too much of a hassle for breakfast. I was very glad that I kept that ADR. Very positive experience. Enjoy!

The cups are out by the beverage station. There was coffee, juice, soft drinks, and water available. It's supposed to be one drink per meal ordered, but it didn't seem like it was being monitored. DH had water and I had coffee when we were there for breakfast last week.
