BOG Double Booking....

I finally got my reservation for January 28 at 5:20 through the automated system. I called back on 2 different days to make sure I wouldn't be cancelled since there was no CC attached to the reservation. I was assured that they were not doing anything to any reservation made on 8/20/12 through the automated system.

Being the cynic that I am, I just went ahead a looked online yesterday and found more times still available (shocking, I know!!). I booked the 5:30 time online so that I could be official and have a CC attached. I thought it would make me cancel my 5:20 reservation since they were ONLY 10 minutes apart. It didn't prompt me to make the cancellation!! I booked the 5:30 reservation then went back and cancelled the 5:20 reservation. I couldn't believe it allowed me to make the new reservation without the cancellation!!!

And the strange thing??? I have yet to be able to find the ADR I made through MS on Monday for BoG. So, after waiting for it to show up somewhere, and not showing up anywhere, I finally called DisneyDining today to check. The first thing the CM asked was whether or not I have given a cc when I made the ADR. Yup, I had. Then, he was able to find it. But he said he was concerned due to so many ADRs going away that hadn't had a cc attached to them.
And so many people said it wouldn't be an issue at all...to have the CM tell me that there had been issues??? Man, glad I called, glad I gave a cc number on Monday!!!
Wonder why they allowed such close bookings for you????

I don't know why they allowed it.....so strange, especially for such a hard to get reservation! That is exactly why I called TWICE to fix the cc issue. I'm sooooo glad I looked online and found that reservation for 5:30 and was able to make it with properly with a CC!!
