BOG Dinner Question

We have a dinner reservation at 10 pm on Oct 5 (not a Halloween party day).

I read that it's possible you won't see the Beast...and with a late reservation, I'm worried we might miss him.

Has anyone had a dinner reservation and NOT seen the Beast?

We've been twice, seen him both times, our reservations were around 8:30 - 9 though.
