BoG Dinner on MNSSHP nights!!!!!!

i just got mine! I used a 3rd party where I had to pay and they text you and they keep texting me now, time intervals of 10 minutes!

They aren't showing up at all for me :-( What dates are you guys looking at?

Looks like they only released extra dates for October but not September :-(

We've got some around 4:20, wanting something closer to 5, all of these are 6-6:30. Phone has been blowing up with Booking Buddy notices, haha there's another one. Totally worth the $10 or whatever I spent.

My phone has been blowing up ALL morning with alerts for my MNSSHP night (Nov. 1).

Hopefully they do the same for MVMCP nights!

Not to hijack the thread, but I have a question about reservation etiquette. Just got a 6:50PM reservation at BOG for the night we will be going to MNSSHP. We already have a late lunch planned so a full dinner may not be an option. I grabbed the reservation for potential desert and drinks pre-party and to actually get to see the insides of BOG. So is it bad form to take a reservation to BOG just for desert, even that late in the night?

Its your reservation, no where is it written you have to order a meal. That begin said, I also got a 6:40 reservation for my party night, I'm already thinking of canceling, a 6:40 dinner will overlap with party time, doesn't seem worth it to me.

Is dinner at BOG worth it? I was wondering if taking the time away from the MNSSHP was worth it...

Again - it's all relative, but in my opinion BoG dinner is ABSOLUTELY worth it. It is the only reservation that I will go out of my way to stalk for our trips. Not only is it a beautiful, amazing, breathtaking venue - but I always enjoy a nice meal with a glass or two of wine on my dinner break at MK.

I was able to get a 6:30 reservation for my party night. Would I have liked it to be a little earlier? Sure. But even if I take an hour for dinner, I'm only "missing" the first 30 minutes of the party AND hopefully Fantasyland will be a little cleared out with regular guests leaving so I can have a short wait for SDMT or PP.

The only way I'd probably give up my BoG dinner is if there's something like the Sinister Soiree again this year, but even then, I'd probably try to make both work.

As a pp mentioned you can make an ADR for anything for dinner to dessert. With that said, I wouldnt waste valuable party time at BOG or any other place for that matter. Maybe plan a lunch at BOG instead or try and make an ADR for BOG on a non party night. While BOG is nice inside for the amount of $$ your spending on party tickets and the snacks you get during party hours, its a waste

Wow do I feel lucky. I had no idea they had released more times on party nights. I've just been checking relentlessly for the last month hoping for a cancellation! This explains how I was able to snag a 6:00pm spot on 9/15 for 4.

Feeling lucky. Maybe I should play the lottery. LOL

So jealous! But I finally managed to snag a lunch on 9/15 just an hour ago... I'd prefer the dinner time. Sounds like I missed the chance this morning.

Does anyone know if the beast does photos/meets at the lunch meal? When we went on our honeymoon, we had a dinner reservation that we only got because another DISer gave hers to us when her trip plans fell through, and when we went, the beast was there.

I thought the party doesn't start until 7? Or do you mean like getting in line for characters early?

The Beast is only there at dinnertime.

Dinner typically takes about an hour so with a 6:40 reservation you wouldn't be getting out of BOG until around 7:30. It could be later if BOG is running behind and you are not seated on time. As far as lining up for characters, many will start getting in line around 5:30, possibly earlier, for the 7 Dwarfs or Jack and Sally so again at 6:40 reservation would be too late.
