Not sure if this is a dinning question.

I have 6:25pm dinner reservation on a day with a 8pm firework.

We still want to see the firework from front of the castle. Of course, we don't expect to sit. Just need a space to stand.

We plan to arrive on time if not a little early. We will order app+main course+dessert all at once and have the dessert boxed to go. Will we have enough time to make it to the front of the castle?

Another scenario is that we can just go and order drink+dessserts. Would that give us enough time?

Thank you!

You may want to pick one or the other. There's always the option of watching the fireworks from behind the castle as well. Not as fancy for sure, but still fairly enjoyable!

I agree with pp that it's unlikely. Just because you arrive on time or even early doesn't mean you'll get seated right away. You should get out in time to see the fireworks, but probably not from the front of the castle. The crowds will be crazy to try to get through at that time. Can you view the fireworks on a different night? Then you could relax and enjoy your dinner at BOG!

That's going to be your problem. By the time you finish at BoG, there won't be any standing room in front of the castle, and it will be very difficult even trying to navigate your way over there.

From our experience, BoG doesn't let you check in any earlier than 10-15 min before, and sometimes not even that early. Checking in is just the first step. You then have to wait until they call you into the restaurant and to your table. It could easily be close to 6:45 before you are seated. The earliest I see you leaving the restaurant is 7:30, and I just don't see how you're going to get into any position in front of the castle at that late hour.

FWIW, I watched HEA from behind the castle for the first time Sunday night. We've been able to see HEA from the front several times now and were looking for something different/didn't want to mess with the crowds. I thought it was a GREAT place to watch the fireworks and my DS7 was totally loving everything going off all around him.

Sure you miss the projection part but if you have another night where you can watch from the front, I wouldn't rule out watching from the back if that's an option for you.

Thank you all for the reply.

I think I may adjust our plan and view from the back!
