The best breakfast ADR I could get for our MK day is at 8:35. Do you think that will be enough time to eat and get our day started in order to "stay ahead" of the crowds?

YES! We were just there last week and had an 8:30 ADR at BOG. They paid no attention to the time, everyone with a pre-open ADR was let in for breakfast at the same time! The one issue we had was we did the pre-order (quiche - which was surprisingly good). The check-in desk outside the restaurant indicated to Tell the CM inside we did pre-order. When we arrived inside we told the CM directing the line of people that we preordered. She said - you are fine going to the right (into the long line of people waiting to use the order kiosks). There was another CM by a cash register just inside the rope - I mentioned to him we pre-ordered, and he said to "come this way my lady" lol. We paid him, and were let inside! We were one of the very first ones into the eating area. It's gorgeous! There was another room off to the left - it was really nice but very dark - so we decided to sit in the middle/main eating area. Get your own silverware and drinks. The eating area to the right was being blocked off at the time - but we noticed they opened it up after the first two dining areas were getting full.

With our 8:30 ADR we were inside and seated by 8:10. Done eating by 8:35 and got two trips on the 7DMT!

Have fun!

My situation was nearly identical to the previous poster. The time is moot on these ADRs. Get to the park by about 7:30, and get in line. You'll be just fine as long as nothing changes in their procedure. I'm not sure why anything would change, either - it makes sense to just let the whole first bunch in at the same time, really.

Plus - you might be able to move that reservation up - keep checking. I was able to move mine earlier several times within a month!

We tried moving ours up as well, with no success. But as I said, in the end, it didn't make a smidge of difference. And actually, by pre-ordering, we passed probably 30-40 people in line.

Not for us. We had an 8:30 at BOG and it took FOREVER to get our food. You may get ahead of the crowds, but I wouldn't count on it.

ETA: We ordered in advance.

So after checking back daily, I managed to score an 8:05 res for BIG breakfast, but I don't see where I can order ahead. Help!

Check your confirmation, it should tell you the exact date you can start your preorder 30 days out. And woohoo for scoring the ressie!!

I hope this doesn't happen to you, but this just happened to me: The week after February break, so, theoretically a slow time, I had an 8:10 ADR for BoG. Park was supposed to open at 9. 3 weeks ago, they just changed the open time to 8AM, making my delicious breakfast as well as my potential touring advantage obsolete. Stinky, right? Just bear in mind to keep checking park hours. Coveted reservations made 180 days ahead can become cancelled ADRs 21 days ahead.

We pre ordered as well, but not way ahead of time. We ordered on the bus on the way over that morning, and everything was set and ready when we got there.

That's a great idea!!! Still preordered but you can choose what you are in the mood for that day. Woo hoo!
