Beauty and the Beast is my all-time favorite movie. I would love to have that whole experience of being in the castle and eating.

But, is BOG worth the hype that it gets? If so, is that worth the alleged difficulties in getting ADRs? Is it like CRT in that you go for the atmosphere and experience rather than the food?

If you like the food what is your favorite item?

In my opinion, dinner is worth the hype- we've had great meals there and it has become a must do.

I could take or leave breakfast and lunch- not worth the hype.

I know lots of people think it's just a loud crowded, overpriced cafeteria at breakfast and lunch, but I really love it. My favourite place to eat is the West Wing, or the ballroom by the window where the snow falls.

I really like the assorted cured meats and cheese entree.

We enjoyed it but for us the price is only worth it when we share a meal. We are not big breakfast eaters and found sharing a meal with the muffins, etc made it worth it to experience the restaurant.

If you want atmosphere and dig B&B, go for dinner. Breakfast is pretty meh, and pretty crowded.

I'll dissent. I don't think dinner was worth it at all. But the breakfast food options look tempting enough for me to try again on my next trip.

I've only eaten lunch there but is you are a big fan I think you would definitely enjoy the atmosphere. The food was on par with most QS offerings in my opinion.

Go for dinner to get table service. It's also the only meal the Beast makes an appearance at. Be sure to take a look at all the dining rooms. Enjoy!

I liked it. I think it was a pretty filling breakfast with the sandwich, pastry tray, and fruit. I'd go again.

I did enjoy dinner more though.

I think BOG is a very beautiful restaurant, both interior and exterior. It is a great experience especially when you consider the fact that you aren't going to dine at a place like this in the average hometown.

My husband and I really enjoyed lunch. Our sandwiches were quite hearty and very tasty. He had the roast beef sandwich and a bowl of potato leek soup. I had the Croque Monsieur. We were served a generous amount of pomme frites. I could not finish all my food. He managed to eat all of his and was very stuffed, plus he is a large-sized guy. I was surprised how much he enjoyed the meal.

My two daughters and I loved the presentation of breakfast. We thought it was so "girly". Might be a turnoff for guys because of that. We thought it was more than enough food and could not finish everything, though we made a good try of it. If my husband had been along for that trip I don't think breakfast would have been as satisfying for him as it was for us three girls. We had the Croque Madame, the assorted cured meats and cheese platter, Eggs Florentine, and our pastry tray. We thought everything was delicious.

Of course it is a matter of individual taste, but I would say yes, it is worth it for food, atmosphere, and experience.

We have our first Breakfast ADR this April, but have had two dinner ADRs since its opening. We loved our strip steaks & frites for dinner. There were a few other entrees that were a big hit with family and friends. It was also nice to get a picture with the Beast after dinner. Having a wine & beer option for dinner was an added plus in MK.

Try and go for dinner.
We did breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Breakfast was more to get into the park early and enjoy a walk up Main Street to take pics.
I think lunch was a great value with the dining plan and a nice break during our MK day.
But dinner was the best- we all really loved it. And, you get to meet the Beast!

Breakfast was awful for us. There were only 3 of us and 1 meal came out much later than the other 2 and all 3 were ice cold.

Is BOG worth the hype when it comes to breakfast? NO WAY. Sure, the decor is incredible and if you are on the DDP (not worth it for me) then it is a great value based on maximizing dining credits alone. But if you are paying OOP then this has to be one of the biggest rip offs sprinkled with pixie dust found in WDW. To spend $24 for a breakfast sandwich and a plate of frozen pastries is ludicrous. Ah but the things people will do to be at the front of the line for 7DMTR (another over-hyped attraction) or to get an early spot in line for Anna and Elsa. But hey, who am I to say how one should spend their money at Disney. I think this is a major rip off and would never do it, someone else might thing this is the greatest thing Disney World has ever done.

If you are on the DDP, yes, it is worth the hype. If you like to share a meal and are paying OOP? Yes it is worth the hype. If you plan on spending $25 a person for breakfast? Nope.

I like this breakfast a lot, but I am generally on the DDP. A credit is a credit to me, and this one is a HUGE credit. But paying 25 for any breakfast plate is too much IMO.

We went for dinner on our last trip and it was 'ok'. Ambiance is cool at night, but the food is just OK and the appearance by the Beast is lacking a bit. We've got an ADR for breakfast on our next trip, but the prices and food reviews are causing me to check daily for Crystal Palace openings for that day.

I have had both breakfast and dinner at BoG - gotta say, I prefer breakfast. The formal dinner experience is good just once but I don't think it's worth the ADR headache.
