BOG breakfast on Magical Morning

We had two reservations for breakfast at Bog to get on seven dwarfs early. One morning was changed to an 8am opening and the other is a magical morning. Will we still be able to get on to seven dwarfs before rope droppers on the magical morning? Or should we just rope drop? Anyone have any experiences with this?

If you are doing BOG mostly for 7DMT, neither the 8AM open or an EMM morning is a good bet for that.

Yep...no guarantees you'll get to ride early on a normal day, although it happens most of the time.

I'd say that on the magical morning, they won't allow anyone without tickets to ride before the RD crowd gets there.

On the EMH morning, you'll be wasting valuable low lines time while eating.

If you are going in the summer, you won't have alot of 9am openings to choose from since most days will probably have an 8am or EMM if it follows the June schedule (between 3-5 days/week on 8am alone) The EMM should be fine, we are doing the same, they are very limited on how many tickets they sell. We plan to eat there and go to 7DMT or another ride right after we eat, we are still ahead of the crowds, several sites said it should not be a problem. I would definately not do BOG on an 8am opening.

Heard others say on EMM they were held at the end of the New Fantasyland wall, then right about/before rope drop they let you enter the Standby line. You were not offered the FP line like before because the EMM guests have that exclusively until opening. BUT you would be the first ones in line on standby which is a good thing.

If it's EMH, it's a waste.
If it's the EMM (the paid special-access to 7DMT, PP and Pooh) it's also dicey, though.

Agree. The EMM is a hard-ticket event, and if they treat it like other hard ticket events, there will be no early rides on 7dmt for PPO diners...other than *maybe* a slight jump on the RD crowd for the stand-by line.

We were there this past week and had a Saturday 8:00 am breakfast at BOG. This was a 9:00 am park opening with EMM taking place as well.

We got done eating about 8:40 and walked out of the restaurant. There was a line forming at the end of the walkway up to the restaurant (to the left of 7DMT if you are facing the ride). At 8:45 they let everyone go to the ride, which was the same time that the regular rope drop crowd was let go at the front of the park. We had to go through the stand-by queue, but were on the ride before the rope drop crowd arrived. By the time we got off the ride, the rope drop crowd was there, but we were able to get one ride in with no wait (other than the few minutes that it took to wind through the queue).

The only difference between that experience and the one we had on Thursday (also an 8:00 am BOG breakfast but no EMM that day) was that on Thursday we were let through the fast pass queue at 8:45 rather than the stand-by queue.

I can't say it will always be this way, but this past week the only difference between the day that had an EMM event and a day with a normal 9:00 am park opening was which queue you had to go through at 8:45 am.

That's good to know! So chances are we will possibly have at least one ride at 8:45 or be the first ones in line. Thanks for the update. I really appreciate.

I think we will cancel the 8am no EMM but keep the morning of the EMM. Our ressie is at 8:20, will we still get in at 7:45?

Unless things change, you will still be let in at 7:45. Actually, now that I think about it, one of our reservations was at 8:20 as well. We went through the same motions at the same time with both the 8:00 and the 8:20.
