BOG and PPA

We currently have an 8:50am ressie for BOG on non early entry day at MK. Past reports had indicated that it didn't matter if you had an 8am or 8:55am ADR as long as it was before park opening at 9am if you were in line at 7:45am they just let everyone with a before park open ADR in. I am wondering if this still seems to be the case, or if anyone has had a experience with being held back if you ADR was closer to park opening time. We plan to be there at 7:45am when they start letting everyone in.

Last may when. We were there they grouped one for the tours one for before 830 adrs and one for 830 to opening adrs
The first ones in were the tours followed by those before 830 I don't know when. They let the others I

This is why I am asking. I have seen several posts on here and other forums stating that all times prior to park opening were all let in at 7:45 am, but I haven't seen anything reported where someone was held back for having a later time. I was hoping if this has actually happened to someone they could share that experience as contrary to what has actually been reported here.

Yes, we had an 8:55am reservation for CP and were held back until the end of the opening show. They said they would let everyone in after the show, and we were not allowed in. This was 2 years ago, so YMMV.

The Welcome Show starts at 8:40am and they let the regular crowd in immediately afterwards - which was 8:45 on 4 seperate rope drops I went to during my November trip. I would arrive earlier than the welcome show, if you want to get in before the regular crowd does.

We were planning on getting there at 7:45 when everyone else does for the PPA ADR's. Just trying to get a feel for whether or not they would let us in as well with an 8:50 BOG or if we would have to sit and wait until later. Reports have said in the past that they were letting all BOG times in together at 7:45 regardless of you ADR time, as long as it was a time slot before park opening. I know with TS PPA they will sometimes hold back the later ones, but it was different with BOG since it was QS and no reserved seating.

It seems like everyone has different experiences with this, depending on the CM's working the gate. It doesn't hurt to get there early and try or even get there at 8am instead of 7:45am, but just be prepared to be told you'd have to wait just incase.
