BOG and fireworks party

I am looking for your thoughts if the following plan is feasible . In October we have a reservation for BOG at 18:40 but also a fireworks desert party reservation at plaza gardens the same night . It's a 9pm showing and the reservation is 19:45. I chose plaza gardens because it's non seating and we are not hardcore about being right up front as I am very tall.
Will we make it in time and is it just a silly idea overall?

You should be fine. Though the party starts at 7:45 pm, you don't have to be there then. We actually showed up around 8:20 pm for our party and had plenty of time to have dessert before they brought us to the garden around 8:45 pm. Tip: head to the back railing when you get to the garden. There will be no crowds and you'll have a great view!

I,don't think I,would have room to do a dessert party justice immediately after dinner.

I probably wouldn't do a dessert party that close to a big meal, but I don't see the value in a dessert party anyway. I couldn't and wouldn't want to eat enough dessert to justify the cost.

I am not worried about the cost, I am worried its our only chance to see HEA and due to the high amount of MNSSHPs that week crowd levels may be high.
