BOG amazing customer service - almost felt guilty!

So we went to BOG for lunch last week as we have many times - we did not preorder like we usually do, but weren't sure what we'd be in the mood for. Ordered a couple of standard entrees, no special orders (turkey sandwich and French dip) , quickly found a seat and waited. Waitress looked at our receipt, and then others kept getting their orders, even those seated after us. We had a difficult to get FP+ later, so finally mentioned something to a waiter, politely, after about 25 minutes. He was so friendly, took our receipt, and came back in 5 minutes or so with our sandwiches, apologizing profusely saying somehow the order got lost. Then the manager came in and apologized, and some other manager did as well. They offered us a free gray stuff(not bad - had never tried it.) and then gave us 2 FP vouchers. Then they came back and credited the entire meal. That was really unnecessary I felt, very nice, but have never experienced that in Disney since we don't really complain much, and didn't really complain in this situation. Obviously, someone wants you to be happy at BOG!

That's awesome! I hear a lot of stories that end up bad, but I'm glad to hear one that turned out in a good way.
 
We had similar outstanding service there a few years ago on our honeymoon. I could have sworn I'd preordered cupcakes but was distracted when we confirmed our order and paid and they were obviously missed as when our food came they weren't there and our bill had no mention of them either. I'm a lemon fiend and was really craving one so I asked a manager after we'd finished our food if it was possible to order them as I'm apparently screwed it up. She asked which ones we wanted, waved us to a nearby table and said they'd be out in a minute. When I asked about paying she told me not to worry about it. I'm so glad others are having similar experiences with their service still!

We had good service there too. We somehow lost a cupcake in our ordering and the waitress just brought us the cart and let my son pick one. All smiles.
 
I also had a similar experience. This was my first time eating there a few years ago. I was with a huge party and we all ordered lunch and sat down. A few minutes later, everyone’s food was being brought out. A few minutes went by and my food had not shown up. I flagged a lady down who looked at my receipt and said it would be right out. Another few minutes went by and basically everyone was done with their food. The lady looked over and saw that I had still not gotten my food. She was highly irritated (not with me obviously but how I had still not gotten my food. I wasn’t really that upset about it). She told me she would be right back and that she was going to the kitchen personally to “beat it out of Mrs Potts” :rotfl2:
She came back with my food and apologized profusely. Another lady came up and refunded my entire order..which I wasn’t expecting.
I’ve always had the best customer service there.
 
Great customer service! We love BOG and have breakfast there every time we go to MK. Love everything about it.
 
Title caught my attention. BOG reservation was so hard to get, and there were a great many reviews of mediocrity on the web, glad to see this - thank you for sharing! Feeling less anxious about wasting a dining slot :)
