Hi all,
I just read the plight of someone else with their reservation and then cirque tickets. I'm wondering is this do-able: BOG at MK ADR at 5:50 then Cirque at 9:00.
We are staying at POR so we could take the bus back there after dinner then the boat to DS.
But is that enough time? What time do we need to get our tickets by?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Or how early can we go and get our tickets for Cirque?

I have never been to Cirque but I would budget \ 2 hours for dinner at BOG to be safe ( just in case they are backed up or something happens) and THEN budget a little extra cash to walk to The Contemporary and take an Uber to DS.

Cirque has a very strict policy with respect to closing the doors before showtime. Can't recall if they ask you to be there 15 minutes before, or 30 minutes before? But whatever the deadline, they will close the doors at that point and you won't get in and I don't think they'll refund the tickets either.

With bus transportation, it could easily take over 2 hours to get from MK to DS, so I wouldn't risk it. Even a cab would be tight.

Maybe, but probably not.

You need to be at the theater no later than 8:30. If your dinner is quick and you're out by 7:00 you can walk very quickly to the Contemporary, get a cab to Disney Springs, and walk very quickly to the theater. But you are going to have to rush.

If dinner runs long or you don't move quickly, you're not going to make it.

If I were you, I'd change or cancel the BOG ADR.

Ok, thanks everyone, I really appreciate all the help. I'm pretty sure we will have to change (or rather give up) our ADR. Maybe try to make it there for lunch instead.... It's my birthday and even if we don't eat at ANY place I like we're still at WDW for my bday so that's amazing in itself. :-D

We took the boat from POR to Disney Springs last year. Be prepared to wait a long time to get on the boat and then for a very slow boat ride. I would not be there any later than 7:15 to make sure you were at Cirque by 8:30. Or arrive even earlier and visit the stores or have your dinner at Disney Springs while you wait. We left the boat at the first stop, the opposite end, to visit the Lego store and then walked to Cirque. I can't tell you exactly how long the boat trip required. But the ride back seemed to take forever, after a very long day, and those boat seats were not comfortable enough for napping, sadly. LOL

We did really enjoy Cirque. Have a Happy Birthday!

I would not count on that POR boat. The line for the boat at the resort may be long, and you may not get on the first one to comes. Then when it does come, its a slow boat that drops you at the Marketplace. You need to get all the way to the other side of Disney Springs, which mean waiting for another boat..OR...trekking through the DS crowds all the way to the other side.

Both are pretty expensive experiences, might not be worth stressing yourself out so much that you end up ruining both, either way have a great birthday :)
