BOG adding a person

So I am trying to add 1 more person. Table of 4 now. My mom decided to join us. Problem is they say I can not add a person. My daughter will be with us, she is almost 3. She almost always sits on our laps anyways since she has sensory issues and can not sit to eat alone. Wondering if they would let my mom have her seat and she can sit on our lap. So still a table for 4. Anyone know if this will work?

The restaurants have a maximum occupancy for fire codes, so no it will not work. It is the same reason that you have to count babies in the number of people the reservation is for. I would keep checking to see if a different reservation comes available or try to call and see if they can adjust the reservation. You can always try to show up with the one additional person, but you will have to be prepared for that one person to be turned away if they are not able to accommodate them.
