BOG & 2 MDE accounts

We have a MYW pkg with dining plan. We're a party of 4 with resvs for BOG that are pieced together. I could only get an 8:45 for 3 of us, but saw there was an 8:10 for one person so I tried to book that for dh thru the same MDE account that we're all on, which it wouldn't let me do. I then created an account for dh to book the 8:10 and linked the accounts thru friends/family. The 2nd account doesn't recognize him as being the same person on my account, so I basically have two dh on my itinerary. My concern is for the dining credit. I plan on preordering so will I have to order his meal on our resv and have him just order a cupcake or something small on his? I'm wondering if I need to call Disney.

I assume you are talking about breakfast, since you are talking about pre-ordering. I've never done breakfast, but I assume it's the same as lunch. You pay when you get there, not when you pre-order, so you or he should be able to pay for whatever he ordered with your dining credits. When you pre-order and go to pay, they ask if you are DDP or OOP.
You may want to order his entree with yours if it's important to you to have all of your food come out at the same time. I think you'll get an extra plate of pastries since your husband is on a different ADR.

Yes it's breakfast. We've eaten there before with preordering, but never with two separate resvs.

you pay at the restaurant, there won't be a problem only he had to show up at his ADR time and wait for the other ones, and If his magic band have the dining credits on it, he won't have a problem, but I don't know if the cast member will let you in if is you the one with the dining credits to pay for his food

I'm banking on them letting us all in at the same time since they let us in early last year, but ya never know. I'm still going to try and find 4 for the same time. Hopefully something will open up closer to the date. I read somewhere on here that they don't hold you to a check in time (meaning if you're late) as long as you show up. I'm not sure if I'm comfortable with personally testing that theory, but if it's true, then maybe dh can wait to check in if they won't let the 3 of us in early.

you have 35 minutes difference and BOG is big enough I don't think they will denied entrance to all of you in between your ADR times. Good luck and have a great trip!

Are you also saying that if I have 3 individual reservations for 1 person each within 30 minutes of each other, we would be likely to be seated together? It looks like there are plenty of reservations for 1 person, but I cannot get anything for 3 people...

Actually, I'm trying to make the 3 reservations for 1 person each and MDE won't let me. Says I have an existing reservation at that time already ..

This is why I had to make dh his own account even though he's already on mine, but wasn't on the dining resv. Also the reason for my original post because it's confusing things. Not sure why they have it set up this way.

Yeah, I figured out that I need to have my adult kids get their own account and I'll log in to create their individual reservations. Seems difficult, but if that is the way it needs to be done . . .

If you have a reservation for yourself it won't let you, as you can see.

But, if you cancel the one you are on and start over you can make a 1 person reservation for one of your kids first, then the next kid, then your husband and then yourself last.

They key is waiting until the end to do your own, MDE will let you make multiple reservations for the similar time frames as long as you aren't the lead guest.

I have make 2 reservations on a regular basis for our trips, since we usually have around 10 or 11 people going. As long as I make the first reservation and switch the lead person to my husband instead of me on the first ADR I make I'm ok to make the second one with myself as the lead for it.
