I had been trying to get into BOG for my upcoming anniversary trip in May. Not having any luck I tried to do a reservation for 1. I was able to get one for myself at 11:10 and for my husband at 11:15.
I know there are no table set ups for 1 so I can't figure it being an issue to sit together. but what about the ordering?
Will we need to order each on our own then just sit together or do you think we will be able to combine our orders?
Thanks for any help.

Choose a table together. You can both preorder or order when there and it won't be a problem. You can be on the same bill. If you don't preorder you just order together when you get there. We had to do the same thing on our last trip with 2 ADRs and it was fine.

Hmmm..How weird that they would do that?:confused3
It's like how fastpasses are set up. They have a certain number allowed at 5 minute intervals. There was one spot left at 11:10 and one spot left at 11:15. It works out since BOG is QS at lunch. You aren't really booking a table as much as you are booking a place in line to order.

So you're telling me that at that table that they have there will only be one chair available? And the other would be used by someone at a 5 person table or similar? Either way it seems odd.

Be Our Guest is different as it is a QS for lunch. You stand in line and order at a kiosk or pre order. You then walk in an pick a place to sit. You may have a family of 4 sitting at a table for 6 if that is what is available in the room they want to sit in. Although they did have cast memebers walking around helping people find tables last time I was there for lunch.
That is the only reason I tried for the two separate single ADRs. I figured we could go up together with the 2 confirmations and just pick a table for 2.
I was askee because of the bill. I was hoping we could put it on the same one. Not thinking I could just put both meals on one reservation.
Hope that makes sense.

Yes, you can put two meals on one reservation. It doesn't make any difference whether you do one bill or two, it comes out the same in the end.

BOG is a counter/quick service at breakfast and lunch so it would be like walking into a McDonald's or Burger King. You choose your own table for however many in your group. For lunch reservations BOG books according to the number of seats (diners) that can be accommodated at one time without regard to individual table size. The assumption is the turnover is fast enough that there will usually be tables available at any given time for your group size. However, since it's counter/quick service if a party of two choose a six top table and it's very busy it is possible another group will ask if they can share your table because BOG is booked to capacity for that meal.

I was starting to type up an explanation, but mydisneykids and purple figment explained it better than I could.

Thank you all of you...

As I was reading through these, I did just remember how different it is from lunch to dinner. Forgot about that !:thumbsup2
