Last trip I suffered terrible with blisters on my toes. I had well broken in trainers. I have read on us site about bodyglide, anyone know if we can get it here? Also Crocs, I'm getting a pair before I go but wondered where I could get them in Orlando.

I don't know about them but I took a pack of Blisterize with me that I bought from Tesco. It is like a little plaster that balloons up and protects a blister. I found these good.

You can get crocs almost anywhere in Florida, even the parks sell them and they are so comfy. A word of warning though take extra care on wet floors.

when we went last year I took a pair of crocs for the first time...they were brilliant.
Although I am sure you can get them all over Florida, last year the places we went to like the outlets didn't have the colour I wanted or style. I would definitely buy one pair here to take. Yes you might save a few pounds but at least you won't be panicking on the first day about buying some. I like to enjoy the first few days before doing any shopping.
One thing I did notice was not all the shoes were crocs...if I remember Seaworld sold another make that looked like crocs and we noticed this at a few places. If you have problems with feet I would stick to crocs.

Stick to Crocs the others are called Geckos and they are not so good

I saw the advice on here and googled it. There are a few sports companies on the internet in the UK who do next day delivery. Cost me about £12 if I can remember rightly but I'm not sure who that was from. Don't have time to look it up for you sorry...leaving for Fla in 11 hours!

Apparently-not tried it out yet- Bodyglide is the same ingredients as in a stick deoderant-you know the solid ones not a roll on, so quite a few of our US cousins said they use deoderant instead-BTW it has to be anti-perspirant!

As for the Crocs, I saw what appears to be those fashion abominations in Jonathan james here in chesterfield the other day (I think they are a fairly widespread chain so happy hunting)

And yes I expect to get flamed by a million people telling me how great they are, maybe they are comfy but they do look strange! And doesn't wearing rubber/plastic shoes make your feet sweat more than ever?

I bought Bodyglide from a UK Co last year - www.wiggle.co.uk - and it worked a treat! None of us got blisters. Just use it as soon as you think a blister is starting. A small stick costs £4.99, a large stick £7.99, and postage is free.

Thanks I just bought the sun one, I only got the small one at £5.99 as I thought it would be more convenient for taking to the parks. That's the best price I've seen so thanks again :)

Hi Sharon, Glad it's been useful. Just in case you're interested, I bought some Crocs Athens from www.jellyegg.com last year. I don't know if they're still competitively priced though. I wore them for the whole of our holiday - everywhere - parks, water parks, shopping, beach, ...........soooooooo comfy! Hope that helps too!

 BTW I heard that there's a couple of 'stalls' selling Crocs in Epcot near Innoventions East/West where the ball sellers were before:love:
