How much body glide do you need for a week to do your thighs and your feet daily? Like would 3 sticks work for 2 adults and 2 kids for a week or do we need more?

Three sticks would surely work. Then, you could use what you didn't use this time on future trips. In all honesty, you just need to do a quick rub on; you don't need to slather it on. You could get by with 1 stick easily. If you're paranoid about running out, pack a 2nd, but 3 is way over doing it. We have 4 in our family too, and I'm still working on our original stick, and we've had roughly 2 weeks in Disney parks plus a week at the beach over the past year and a half.

I agree one large stick should be plenty. I took one for both of us and still had plenty to use on my next several solo trips. I go for nine days about four times a year. At least one trip there will three of us in the room and the other three trips I'll either be solo or there may be two in the room. One large stick lasts for all four trips. It comes in .45 oz, 1.3 oz, and 2.5 oz. I always try to buy the larger 2.5 oz.

Now our local Dick's no longer sells Body Glide. They now sell the Mission brand in a tube. I bought it for one solo trip and did not like it. It did not work as well as the Body Glide, felt odd on my thighs and feet, and I used a whole tube in about 7 days. Now I order the real 'Body Glide' online. It works better, you don't feel it, and it takes very little (just a quick swipe).

Good question, OP. We just bought 2 of the 1.3 oz sticks (one for each of us) at our local Dicks sporting goods for our upcoming trip, and hopefully that will be enough.<crosses fingers> That stuff is insanely expensive, $10 for a little stick. :scared1:

You are correct about the price, but it is so worth it. I've used it for years when I go out on my long runs, and you better believe that I can feel it post run on the days that I forget to put it on.

Okay, I bought two 2.5 sticks for $25.98 on amazon.com with free shipping.

That should be fine. I'm also a runner, and I've never used this before, so I'd love to have it for that and for breaking in new shoes. :)
