Seriously, it sounds interesting, but I'm not sure.AnaheimGirl said:Not the same one, but I've been to Body Worlds, which is similar. It was very interesting. While we knew the bodies were real, we nearly forgot about it going through the exhibit. It was so interesting to see the parts of the body presented so clearly, that we didn't dwell on the "eww" factor at all.
But then again, I worked with cadavers in college, and the plastinated bodies are nothing compared to them!
There was also an 8-months pregnant woman with the baby still inside of her which was a little tough to take.
.I don't remember where they first got them, if they told (I got the video, too.) But you can pick up a thing there to donate yourself. And then you send it in and they send you paperwork, which explains the rest of the procedure. If you are Super-Interested, I can dig it out of my Drawer of Crap for you!Lisa loves Pooh said:So where did they get all these bodies and the permission to display them? (Genuine curiosity).
I've seen the inside of a gross anatomy lab. That one visit many years ago was probably enough for me.
