:cool1: Hi! Does anyone know if Bob the piano man still preforms at Port Orleans Riverside? If he is what nights does he usually play? We haven't been to the World in 3 yrs. and will be there in January. We will be staying off site for the very first time:guilty:-my mom gave us her timeshare and we couldn't pass it up. Also I we allowed to pay to park at the resort and go into the bar to see Bob if he is still there or do you have to be a resort guest to do that? We've seen him many times in the past while staying at the Riverside and love him! Thanks so much!

Oh yes Bob Jackson AKA Yehaa Bob is still at POR. He plays Wednesday thru Saturday it starts at 8:30.
You may not even need to pay to park. We went to the Poly to have dinner and the guard at the gate did not make us pay. :confused3

:thumbsup2 Thank you so much! My kids can't wait to see him again.

I agree. He is in on the top of our list of free things to do at Disney. I know some laugh at us but his "show" is so much fun. We will be there in December. Have a great trip.

We have a group of about 40 going to see him Dec 10th. :goodvibes

No, you don't have to pay to park now, but you never know what the future holds with Disney.:rotfl:

How late does his show run? We were planning on eating at Ragland Road, going to Epcot, and then back to see his show. We saw him on our last trip in March and are looking forward to seeing him again.

So his website says he's going to be performing the night we arrive! Can anyone tell me a little about the show, and would a 5 year old enjoy it? :confused3 The time is listed as 8:30-12...do people just come and go from the show during those time?

Thanks!

It's a sing along piano act that is just sooooo much fun. He gets everyone into it and I am sure your 5 yo will love it!! You dance, sing, scream, make noise, etc. During the earlier sets, he calls the kids up to the stage for special dances (hokey pokey, head/shoulders/knees/and toes, etc) but it's ok if your child doesn't like things like that - I know you couldn't pay me to go on a stage when I was a kid. He takes breaks between sets but people come and go during the night.

My first trip to WDW I stayed at POR, and I discovered Bob the piano man. I think one night I sat there listening to him for a couple of hours. Very entertaining. I hope to talk my wife into going to go listen to him on one of our future trips.

BOB is the best! We begin each WDW vacation at Riverside - just to see Bob.

He is there until midnight.....check his website www.yehaabob.com

He is generally there Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays but double check first.

:cool1: We have seen him twice now. His show is great for the young kids all the way up to the adults. Even my teenage son was hooked (and that was a hard sell!:rotfl:) It's just such good ole fashioned fun. People meander in and out during the show. You could stay as long or as short a time as you want-a very relaxed atmosphere.

Fun the first time and the second, maybe even the third...BUT
the same songs/schtick year after year after year. A change would be REAL NICE!!! :confused3

and WHY NOT?????????

I wish the show started earlier. By the time it finally got going, I was too tired to stay up for it. What I did see was great!

I Learned about Bob Jackson here on the disboards (Yea, Disboards) but only saw him for the first time last year and had a great time.

It's kind of interesting - all the theme parks are moving towards interactive attractions and it seems that guests have been interacting at this show for some time now.

Does anyone else get "Sarah, Sarah...sitting on a shed house door." stuck in their head?

I caught Bob for the first time this trip and loved it. My DS6 and I took in his first couple of songs one night and he seemed to enjoy it. A couple of nights later I stopped in by myself and took in about another half hour of his show, he really gets the crowd going.

Last trip we were surrounded by Canadians - of the young-ish type.

After a rousing display of Green Acres - they finally admitted we were all beginning to ...... scare them! :lmao::lmao::lmao: Just wait - it get's better as the night goes on......we told them

Well, in PERFECT Bob fashion, the men were called out for "Lords a Leaping" (NEVER be Lords A Leaping) and ladies "Maids a Milking". By that point - they were singing louder than the rest of us.

He brings the children into his show early and once they are off in bed.....

We all sing SARAH!

Don't forget .... My Bonnie lies over the ocean. My Bonnie lies over the sea. My Bonnie lies over the ocean. so Bring Back my Bonnie to me.

(for those of you who have not had the pleasure...we have to stand up when a word begins with B....and then sit down with the next B.....the men and women alternate).......Ok, this was REALLY funny at about 11:30 pm!!!
