Opinions on bringing a single BOB stroller to the parks? Is it too bulky? I'm wondering if we should get a smaller umbrella type stroller. We also have an Uppababy Vista that is our main stroller that we use day to day, but I'm wary of bringing that to the parks because it's heavy and (hate to say this) might get stolen. Thoughts?

I would say definitely Bob.. more comfortable and easier to store stuff, hang stuff off and so forth. I usually like to use the smallest stroller possble in my non-disney life (usually a bugaboo bee which is basically an enhanced umbrella) but I think having something bigger in Disney is an asset. And yes, I would personally skip the the vista. No fun worrying about your stroller the whole time. We rented a city mini gt from kingdom strollers last time we went and that was great too... easy and no worries.

If taking Disney buses then no question umbrella. Bob was hard to manouver on bus.

Driving yourself and kid is younger then bob makes it super easy. However we ended up using a MacLaren Volvo after our first time with bob and found it super easy and small to get around.

Thanks for the advice! I think we'll be driving to most of the parks. I'm now leaning towards the BOB....

We have taken both our Bob and, on our first trip, an umbrella. We had our car that trip too. The umbrella stroller was terrible on the cobblestone of Main Street at MK, and was overall much less functional everywhere. It also wasn't very comfortable for DS and difficult to push. In contrast, the Bob was great. It's got plenty of room, it's shady for DS when he needs it, and so easy to maneuver. We've had no issues with parking and leaving it either. There are tons of Bobs in the stroller parking. We don't take buses so we've not had to deal with folding it, but even if we did, I still think it would be better.

Didn't think about the cobblestone! We'll also have our car. This has sealed the deal on bringing our BOB. Thanks!!

We have taken our Bob single and double on many trips to WDW and DLR over the years. Early on we had standard Graco strollers and while they were lighter we prefer our Bobs! They might be bulky but they maneuver so much better on the varied terrain. The sunshade is great, and our kids preferred them.

My Vista got broken twice when we gate checked it. So I started renting a stroller. Most companies rent Citi Minis which are great.
My kids would never be comfortable enough to nap in an umbrella stroller.
