Yes, it's me with yet another question. :teeth: My overly obsessed with music, 12 yo. son saw my Universal Orlando book laying around, and said he'd like to check out Bob Marley's while we're there. Is this one of the places at CityWalk that becomes adults only at night? If so, what time. I would appreciate any and all info. you can give me on this restaurant/club (i.e. food, entertainment, etc...). Thanks again for all the help.
:Pinkbounc By the way, if we did eat anything it would only be because we wouldn't feel right about going in the there and not. Between the GC's I purchased and our don't miss restaurants, all we're going to be doing is eating anyway.

I have not been there and can't answer your questions...sorry. I am bumping this up as I would like to know, too. ;)

Hi,

Back in February, my wife and I sat in there for a couple of drinks at around 6pm. It was very relaxing with great live music. There were lots of kids around and it did not seem inappropriate. The menu looked great but we were just getting drinks at the time so we did not try any food. We are definately going back as the atmosphere was great and we really want to try the food.

In regards to your question about the club becoming adults only, I can't answer that....we left around 7 or so and it still was just general admission. This is a great place to kick back for a bite to eat and a couple of drinks and I would highly recommend it. The Jamaican patties looked out of this world.......

The club goes to a 21 and older policy at 10 p.m.

Also, no ganja.:p

Kelly,
I read the no ganja comment in your book, funny.

I think we've decided to just get a quick snack around lunch time one day, then go to Bob Marley's at 3:00 for an appetizer and a slice of "Is This Love" coconut cake (another recommendation from the book :teeth: ). Will we see live music at 3:00? If not, what time does it start? Thanks again!

Live music generally starts in the later afternoon, I'd guess around 5p or so. Even if they don't have the live music, the atmosphere is very relaxing.

I have been to bob marley's and we sat at the outside tables around the statue of bob. I didnt like the food at all the peas and rice wasn't good/cold. I have had food from the islands and it is very good when prepared authentic. I only purchased a meal because we wanted to sit down and take a break. I was so very disappointed with the food. I dont know about the coconut cake, i hope you have a more pleasant time. My family and i will be back nov/04, but not for bob's.
