Do I need to make a reservation to see his show or can we just show up? If no reservation is needed, what time should we be there to get a seat? How long is the show?

Seating area is small, but it is open to the lobby and walkway to foodcourt so you can stand to the outer area's and listen

Plan to arrive about 20-30 minutes before his show if you want to make sure you will have a seat. His act is located in the lounge, which means tables and booths are occupied by folks having a drink or two and maybe some snacks. Once his show begins any remaining seats fill up pretty quickly. The good news is folks who are only there for drinks/snacks get up and leave during the show, which frees up seats from time to time. We usually arrive early, order some soft drinks and snacks (the natchos are REALLY good at the lounge), then sit back and wait for the fun to begin.

Bob will also usually walk around the lounge before a show begins and chat with the guests there. He'll ask where you're from, who's with your group, whether its your first visit, etc., and then if he can, he'll work it into the show (we told him we were from Virginia, and he sang "Country Roads" which is actually WEST Virginia, but then again there aren't too many songs with the State of Virginia in the lyrics).

Each show usually lasts around an hour or so. I think on weekends he does 2 shows a night.

We saw the show last Thursday evening. We got there around 8:30 and got a great seat. I think it started at 9:00 if I'm not mistaken. By 9:30 it was very full - standing room only really! We only stayed about an hour because we were exhausted, but I believe he goes until midnight! I would get there early.

He does take a break between the 1st and the 2nd show.

It is a great act to see. He does have a lot of energy.

We'll be seeing him for the first time (coming from the BCV's) on Thursday, April 24th. Anyone know what time we'll be getting out of there for a ride home, and if you are coming from another resort, have you taken a taxi back or a bus all the way back to DD, then to your resort?

We always make a point of seeing his show, and have for 7 years. He's become a regular on our "to do" list at WDW :thumbsup2

LOOOVVVVEEE BOB!! we also make a point to ride the boat taxi down to see him @ the river roost. last year, we saw him 3 times. every time we go, we get really good seats and i guess we get there an hr before. we always get appetizers(which all of them are delicious) and drinks. my favorite place to sit is in the area right in front of bob. my little girl got to lead the train around the room and of course we all sing. he is so much fun!!
have fun!
