I am staying at POR in August. How is the Boatwrights restaurant. I am wondering what restaurants I should visit. (I am on the dining plan)

It's been about two years since we stayed at POR but Boatwright's was a highlight. Very good breakfasts and dinners (we never had lunch there). The theming inside is cool (like a boatbuilding shop). I'd eat there again without hesitation.

We did not like Boatwright's at all for dinner. Breakfast on the other had was quite good. My recommendation would be for you not to waste a TS credit on Boatwright's, there are way too many other better places to dine, especially if you want to get a good value for the DDP.

I just ate there in March and had the best prime rib that I've had in a long time.

We have eaten at Boatwrights for b'fast & dinner and enjoyed them both. I really like the sweet potato pancakes for breakfast.

Ditto on the Prime Rib!!! Boatwrights has the BEST Prime rib on WDW property. We very much enjoyed our dinner. Great servers, food and atmosphere! We had a hard time getting a last minute reservation for dinner, but Boatwrights was open,so we tried it. We were pleasently suprised. Now Its on our must do list........alongside Ohanas!
Try it, you wont be disapointed.
Later..........Syndrome

We have never had Boatwright's for dinner but absolutely love their Breakfasts. You have to try their french toast it is sooooo good!!!!! We have 2 ADRs for breakfast there in June, we too are staying at POR.

We have stayed at POR three times and have never been able to get in without an ADR so it must be good. The food court there is very good as well.

We had dinner there and loved it. I wouldn't hesitate to go back. Our server, I wish I would have written down his name, was fantastic, the best of our entire vacation.

When we stayed at POR, we ate at Boatwright's for breakfast 3 out of 7 mornings. I would not use a TS credit though. You'll get more for your credits elsewhere. It only costs a little more to have breakfast at Boatwright's than it does at the food court.

thank you! unfortuately i will most likely be eating breakfast in my room. maybe for a day i will try their breakfast. thanks all! :)
