Never dined here before. How is the food? Is it good? Is this a sit-down TS restaurant or is this part of the CS?

I've only eaten there once for dinner and the food was ok. The service wasn't too speedy that night which is fine, but it just seemed very slow for a place that was dead.

We've eaten there a few times and always enjoyed it....not real fancy but still very good.My Dh and DS had the potroast which they both loved. I had the salmon which was also very good. :flower3:

We ate breakfast there in October. Service was slow but friendly. I had the banana/strawberry french toast...it was good. It is considered a TS credit.

Had breakfast and dinner there. Breakfast OK , Dinner had Steak was very good.

I like it for breakfast. When we went in October, breakfast at Boatwright's cost just a little more than at the food court and took about the same amount of time.

We've eaten there for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast...very good. Dinner...marginal. I'd stick with breakfast...banana stuffed french toast with strawberry sauce: delicious!!

Love love love the breakfasts at Boatwrights. The breakfasts I've had at Boatwrights have been the best I've ever had anywhere, WDW and the whole wide world (sorry Mom I love you but you don't make Sweet Potato Pancakes). I have tried the Sweet Potato Pancakes and Blueprint Omlettes and they are both wonderful. I've seen the Banana Stuffed French Toast with Strawberry Sauce (don't know the official name of the dish) and it looked spectacular but I can't have bananas w/out tummy trouble so I haven't tried it. I did hear the people who did have it ooohing and aaahhing over it. Dinner was fine but not outstanding. Everyone but my DS10 liked their food. He ordered catfish, one of his fav foods ever and he hated this catfish. Everything else was fine but I can't remember what anyone else had. So I'd say breakfast YES, dinner, eh why not if it's convenient.

We almost alway make a trip over to Boatwrights just to eat Breakfast. I just love the sweet potato pancakes. I tried the stuffed french toast, and ill stick with the pancakes. And everything ive always read is Breakfast is the best. And yes I do have to agree, service can be a little slow at times. And I'm not talking in peak season either.

We love Boatwrights and it is our second favorite resort restaurant. We generally get either the prime rib or roast beef and haven't had a bad serving yet. The service can vary at times but we have noticed that anywhere we go so we are just patient and let it go.

We have eaten breakfast here many times and always enjoyed it. They have the best omelet anywhere at WDW. There sweet potato pancakes are very good too.

I would go to Boatwrights if I was staying in Port Orleans, but I would not make the effort to go if I was staying in another resort. It's OK but there are much better restaraunts in WDW to make an effort to go to.

Had dinner there in Aug05 and it was quite nice. Everyone was happy with the selection. Loved their chicken gumbo. Also the brownie river barge sunday...two could very easily share. YUM!!!
