Its me again with my favourite topic - FOOD

Has anyone tried Boatwrights for Breakfast or Dinner? What did you think? What is your favourite dish here? Is it worth going we are staying at the Boardwalk.

We ate dinner here once a few years ago and, although it was enjoyable enough, it was certainly nothing special. Maybe we hit them on an off day, but we weren't impressed, and it wasn't cheap.

I may be happy to try it again if I was staying at POR, but definitely wouldn't bother going from another resort.

I agree with Hilary. We ate there once while we were staying at POR, and even though it was obviously really handy for us we didn't feel inspired to visit again. The food was pleasant enough, but it seemed very bustley (sp?) and noisy to me. It's certainly not the most atmospheric restaurant at WDW and not worth a special journey from Boardwalk.

In contrast we also ate at Bonfamilles which was incredibly peaceful because we were about the only people there!! Not totally surprised they decided to close it down.

Any particular reason why you wanted to try it?

This was one reason I fancied it....Mississippi Mud Slide - A frozen creamy delight of Bailey's Irish Cream and Chambord in a chocolate-swirled glass LOL

Kaylee. I've just had a quick look at the menus and noticed that the Muddy Rivers Pool Bar (at POR) does the Mississippi Mud Slide too - and it's 75 cents cheaper!!

POR is a beautifully landscaped resort, so why not do a bit of resort hopping while everyone else is at the parks, so it's nice and peaceful, and have some refreshment while you're there.
