Boatwrights for DINNER?

Those of you who have had dinner at Boatwrights (I know many have had b'fast) how was it? What did you have? Any pics?

We are staying at POFQ and thought we would try it. Thanks!!

ate there 2 or 3 times for dinner on our T-giving trip... AWESOME! VERY underated restaurant. The wife and I would eat there and then wander into the lounge and listen to Bob. Ya gotta try it at least once!

we ate there back in '06 and the food was very good (if i remember correctly, i had pot roast and DH had prime rib). after dinner we took a carriage ride around POR & FQ. I would definitely give it a try

We were married in Disney this past November and most of our guests were staying at POFQ. A few nights before the wedding about 12 of us went there for dinner and everyone loved it. The service was great and so was the food. I honestly do not remember what was ordered but everyone was happy. We went on a Friday night and Piano Bob was playing in the lounge next the Boatrights and after dinner a few of us went over to listen to him play.

Sorry...we are in the minority here. It was the last meal of my birthday trip in 2007 and it was by far the worse meal of the trip (it has been added to our short list of "do not return" places). The host was rude; we were seated almost 40 minutes past our ADR time as people who came in after us or didn't even have an ADR were seated before us; the waitress had no personality and said nothing more than she had to and her service was terrible; the food was medicore at best (sent my meal back two times and gave up as I knew they'd never get it right); and it was so loud you could hardly hear yourself think let alone talk to the person sitting right next to you (this is probably because it is in between the food court--which we really like the food there--and the bar where the piano player performs). We won't go back for dinner but will try breakfast one of our next two trips as DH really wants to try the sweet potato pancakes.

We ate at Boatwrights in September and really enjoyed it. I had the prime rib and it was great. If I were staying at POR or POFQ, I would definitely eat there again.

The food was decent. We would go back to this place.

We ate there in August 08 and really loved it - a definite - "go back restaurant".

we ate there in september: 2 adults, 5 kids. the boys enjoyed the theming & all the kids had fun coloring pirate ship pages. DH had the filet; i had the pork chop. it was fine. neither of us feel the need to return. nothing especially negative... we had good service & were seated right away. but the food wasn't anything special. it's a solid C.
