We ate there about 7 or 8 years ago. Thought the food was good, but I have heard mixed reviews about service. We were very happy with the food and service for both breakfast and dinner. It must have been okay because neither my mom or my aunt complained, and sometimes they're a little persnikety.
We like their stuffed french toast! No matter where we're staying, we try to get over to either Kona Kafe for the Tonga toast, or Boatwrights for the Stuffed French Toast for one of our breakfasts! We have reservations for Sunday the 22nd, 5 of us, adults, and we're staying at AKV.
Yes, the stuffed French Toast is a must! It was so yummy, I could eat a plate of it now and I just finished dinner. Our server for breakfast was very helpful and polite, helpingus make sure we made the most of the dxdp. She even got me my smoothie to go since I was so stuffed from the french toast!
Ask for the waitress Jennifer C. She will spoil you rotten. Sweet potato pancakes were delicious. Breakfast at Boatrights was as good as being at Kona, except at Kona, they have great coffee, where Boatright's is only good fresh ground coffee.
We were thinking of going there the morning our kids are going on the pirate cruise out of th POR...The boat leaves at 11:30, so I thought a nice breakfast before hand would be nice...I don't think they will eat while on the cruise...
And the French Toast did catch my eye...I guess I know what I am ordering if we do go.
My granddaddy and his girlfriend dined there every morning of their first and only Disney trip 2 years ago - they loved it! By morning 3, the staff recognized them and really took care of them.
I haven't had the chance to eat there yet but hope to.
Went in April. Food was fair, service good. Much better choice than CS, you get to sit and have food brought to you. We would go again, we hate CS, takes up too much time, stand in line, etc...The reason we do Delux dp-just hate CS...
My mom and I ate breakfast there a couple of years ago. I don't remember what she had, proabably some sort of breakfast platter, but we shared the strawberries and cream and I had the sweet potato pancakes. I remember our waitress was so sweet and so funny. I'm not much of a breakfast eater, but those pancakes and fresh strawberries were really good. We are eating there again in September.
Yes, it's stuffed with bananas, and then there is a strawberry topping on the side. The strawberries make Boatwright's different and better for some of us!
I loved it, DH thought it was fine. We went just for me to try the sweet potato pancakes. They were worth the trip! I was very pleased with my breakfast. DH didn't dislike his, but he ordered the same basic breakfast fare he gets everywhere on property, and it was good, but not anything different.
We have breakfast at Boatwrights on every one of our trips. The sweet potato pancakes are the best. French toast is also very very good. The sausage there is also top notch.
