Aloha all! This will be our second time to the world from Hawaii! Trying to choose between The Boathouse and Shula's for our date night sans child. We've done Yachtman Steakhouse and loved it but looking to do something different. Would you recommend The Boathouse or Shula's? We love both steak and seafood. Of your choice, which menu items would you order?

Or, would you recommend any other places either on property or in WDW vicinity? We'll have a car.

Mahalo!

We've done both and Shula's is the better restaurant. Not that Boathouse is bad - its not but Shula's is better. Probably also more expensive though.

If its a great steak you are after I'd suggest going slightly off property to Bull & Bear at the Waldorf in Bonnet Creek. Easy to get to by car/taxi/uber.

The dates do not update and it expired 9/23/2015 :(
Sorry to hear that. It was such a great deal and I only had to show them the coupon on my phone. I would keep checking in case they update before your trip.

I would actually pick the boathouse just because of the uniqueness of the place. Shula's to me is just like Gibson's, Prime, or Ruth's Chris. Great steaks no doubt, but where I am from I can go to a great steakhouse (2 hours from St. Elmo's) anytime if I so desire. I can't go to anyplace like the Boathouse though.

For a really spectacular date night and great food, I'd recommend Capa at the Four Seasons. Amazing views from the rooftop bar, especially if you can time with sunset, and some great cocktails. The food and service in the dining room are both outstanding. And views from the deck of both Epcot & Magic Kingdom fireworks (although they don't pipe in the music like other sites do).

That said, I really enjoy Boathouse and think Disney Springs overall would be a fun date night. Full disclosure, I've never tried Shula's.

Have fun!

Just went to the Boathouse this Christmas vacation, it was fantastic, me and my son ordered the Ribeye for 2 it was unreal, Fodd for all of us (5) was really really gd, got the stores dessert for the table, it was awesome

Hmmm, I'll look into this. We'll be on property for 21 days so venturing off would be fun! Thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks for your reply! I'll take that into consideration. Mahalo!
