We originally had ressies for STK but dropped it because we heard a few complaints about it being too "night club-ish" and loud. I don't mind that atmosphere but I wanted to be able to talk to my husband and not shout over our meal.. so we switched to Boathouse a few weeks before our trip.
DH & I loved Boathouse. We were seated right at an open french door that looked down the dock to the bar and we got to watch a summer storm move in while eating dinner. The breeze was refreshing (it was mid Sept and hot, hot, hot!). Our waiter was extremely attentive, even gave us free cocktails + dessert for celebrating our honeymoon, and made the entire experience not feel rushed. Your daughter might like to watch the amphicars go in and out of the water and there is a booth inside made out of a boat which is cool! I don't know if you can specifically request it tho..
My DH got the filet sliders and I got the lobster roll (we're from New England and I was craving one bad down there
) and they didn't disappoint. Also, we booked out ressie through Open Table which gave a load more reservation times to pick from.
I want to try Homecoming but I feel like after I eat there I may need someone to roll me back to the room, haha! I'm sure whichever you choose will be delicious.
