Boathouse no available reservations

Hi fellow foodies,

I have been trying to book the Boathouse for our upcoming stay but at no point in our 14 days stay the Boathouse had available slots between 4pm and 9.30pm.
Do they keep these set aside?

I was on the system before 7am!

Did you try Open Table? I have had my DIL reserve for me when I had a hard time getting a reservation. When is your stay? If it's coming up, they might be all booked up.

Good luck. We will be trying soon ourselves as our 60 day reservation window is coming up.

Second, the open table suggestion especially with DS places.

I agree - when I want to book a restaurant at DS, I try Open Table first. I think the restaurants save most of their reservations for OT.

We considered booking through OpenTable if we'd needed it, but had been able to get ours through Disney. One thing to keep in mind is that you can only book the Boathouse 60 days from the day you are actually dining if you choose to go the OpenTable route. I believe they also had the $10 no show fee but you had to cancel within 24 hours (not the 2 you have through Disney's system)

I book a lot of restaurants not at Disney via OT and haven’t seen a cancellation penalty. Is that unique to Boathouse or to DS restaurants?

We only looked at Boathouse so I'm not sure if it popped up anywhere else. We had been considering it for our arrival day but decided against it in part because of the cancellation policy and not wanting to be stressed out about missing it out cutting it too close.

Opentable changed how we vacation. No more early morning/late night on the computer trying for an ADR. Less long term reservations. For me it’s a win win.

Almost every TS @ Disney Springs uses it with the exception of Homecomin’ and I’ve never seen a late fee policy listed for any of the restaurants there.

I just did my ADRs for my 21 day stay and which included Columbus week. I had my pick of dinner times almost everyday. If searching through the Disney site online you have to look under "The " Boathouse. It will not be under Boathouse. Open tables is a great option as other posters have suggested and lastly, you can still set up one of the free dining ADR search apps. I'm sure for you two week stay something will open up. I just did a quick search from 10/6-10/15 and there were plenty of 4:00-4:45 and 8:00-9:00 times on multiple days even a few 7:45 times.
