Boathouse Lounge?

Does the boathouse have a lounge? We will be headed to Disney Springs the afternoon of our arrival day to pick up our annual passes & TIW card (and Christmas shop). Having no idea how the day will go I do not want to make an adr. a glass of wine & a snack would be perfect.

They have an outside bar and an inside bar. We stopped there our last trip and weren't impressed by the service at all. We ended up leaving and going next door to Jock Lindsay's.

Did you try Dockside Bar or just the main bar?

I've always received great service at Dockside Bar and the view out there is the best in DS.

Dockside bar is great, very relaxing looking out over the water. The service was awful, but we didn't mind because we were in no hurry. (Probably the only time the entire stay we were in no hurry ; )

Before Jock's and Morimoto was open, the dockside bar at The Boathouse was where we liked to hang out in Disney Springs. The service, as others have mentioned, was never on par for our liking either. We stopped in last week on an appetizer crawl around Disney Springs and again the service was less than stellar.

With all the new offerings now available and those coming, The Boathouse is quickly becoming last on our list to hit for anything. Jock's and Morimoto's service has always been great an we will continue to go there.

Please tell me more about this! An appetizer crawl in Disney Springs is right up our alley. We already do a monorail and boardwalk area crawl

We just dined at the boathouse and had a fantastic experience. I'll post pics in the food porn thread. Granted it was lunch and we did not sit at the bar, but I am happy to report this was a great meal for our pty of 7 on the dlx plan and a great addition to Disney Springs for us.

We had no service issues but again, we did not sit at the bar. Really enjoyed it!

I've always had great service insdie and at Dockside Bar,but it sounds like I've just been at the right "time" at Dockside judging by other experiences.

Yeah, we do this a lot actually. We hit up some spots in Disney Springs and grab a starter and an adult beverage at each place until we are full really. Here is where we usually hit and what we get. It's a lot of fun for us as we get to go to many different places and meet a lot of nice people from all over the place.

Boathouse - Lobster Bisque or Crab Claws
Jock Lindesy's - Pretzel Rings
Morimoto's - Mix of Shasimi Offerings
Raglin Road - Dalky Duo or Scallop Forest

Love the idea of a Springs crawl. Great choices for appetizers.

Looks like there are two lounges inside the Boathouse.

Boathouse has 3 bars. Inside the entrance, outside on the dock, and a second one inside. Service was ok. Love the spicy calamari. Excellent view from the dockside.
