We have reservations one night at the Boathouse on our AK day. I signed up for the Landry's Select Club and got my card (we have a couple Landry places around town). How do I get the quicker seating? Just show my card when we arrive? Call and add it to the reservation? Also, are there other perks to this beyond that and the points?

Second, whats the best way to travel from AK to DSprings? Maybe bus back to POR and then boat to DSprings?

There is no reason to call & tell Disney you have a Landry's card. They don't care. Show your card when you arrive at the podium.
Are you asking the best way to DS from the park or the AK Lodge? If the park, you need to go to a resort first. I would take the first resort bus to arrive & transfer to a DS bus there

The Boathouse is NOT a Landry's Restaurant so you won't be able to use the Landry's Select card there. It is operated by the Gibsons Restaurant Group. The confusion stems from the fact that Landry's does own a restaurant with the same name elsewhere and because The Boathouse (in DS) was designed by the same company (Schussler Creative) that has partnered with Landry's for some of their venues including Yak & Yeti, TRex and Rainforest Cafe.

Didn't want to go off topic, but Boathouse wasn't really good IMO, really overpriced and the food was so average.
Since you have a Landry's card, T-Rex café, Rainforest, and Yak & Yeti are Landry's restaurants.
Both Rainforest and Yak & Yeti are located at Animal Kingdom. An additional Rainforest Café and the T-Rex Café is located in Disney Springs.

We have a rainforest near us. Okay, not good though. I'd like Yak and Yeti, but latest reservation is 5:00 PM, which is too early for us.

When are you going? The Yak & Yeti reservation times should eventually be extended past 5:00 since AK will be open so much later. There is a thread right now that I just saw discussing that the times have extended past 5:00 for the first half of August even though the park hours haven't been extended yet. Thought that might help for planning even though you might not be able to book now!

Here is the thread: http://www.disboards.com/threads/animal-kingdom-changed-dining-times-august.3506281/

I would suggest that you keep checking availability for Yak & Yeti if you plan to go to AK. It was really good if your family enjoys Asian (fusion?) food. They are owned by Landry's and (someone correct me if I'm wrong) I think you can call and book directly with them and they may actually have more availability than Disney shows. As for the card, I'm not sure...we are select members as well and since I have points we will probably pay OOP for this meal.

Oh, well the good news is that I just looked and it does say that dinner goes until 6pm that day now (don't know if that helps you). Bad news is that there seems to not really be any availability for really any dinner times May 13th BUT some last minute ADR cancellations are always a possibility or even a walk up *fingers crossed*

Although maybe you already knew the 6pm thing and meant the latest available ADR is 5pm? If that's what you meant then my fingers are still crossed that you can get a later one if that helps you haha!

Its been like that for months. That is why we booked Boathouse. We will likely just stick to the current plans.

Sorry  Totally didn't know because all of the dates I've ever really looked it only had dinner until 5 so I thought maybe 6 was new- oops!
