Boat to Yacht Club

Can anyone take the boat to the Yacht Club & then enter through the International Gateway? Or, is that entrance for resort guests only? I'd like to go from MGM to Epcot & was told that this would be my best bet. However, I'm afraid of getting to the Gateway & then finding out that I can't go in that way. Any thoughts?

Anyone can use the International Gateway. We often go out the "back door" to visit the restaurants around the Yacht and Beach Club resorts. Just make sure you have a valid park pass if you want to re-enter through the Gateway.
