Boat to MK?

If we ride the boat to MK from FW, does that mean we go to the ticket center (and board the monorail) or will we go straight to MK?

The boat goes to the MK by way of the Wilderness Lodge, but you do get there. No TTC needed.

I have no idea! Sorry. We don't usually schedule early dining because we eat at the camper or Trail's End.

It depends on what time your reservations are. The boat to MK starts, I think, 45 minutes prior to MK opening. If it is an early magic hour, it will start 45 minutes before that. If you need to get there before that time, then take the other, smaller boat that goes between the Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge and FW. Get off at the Contemporary and take the monorail to MK. These boats start running earlier than the boat to MK. These boats load at the same dock as the large boat to MK, it's on the right side of the dock. I would do this before I would drive.

The green flag boats which go to the MK begin operations 30 minutes before MK opening, including early openings. This usually results in the first green flag boat reaching MK about 10 minutes before MK turnstiles open, the second boat arrives at about the time the MK turnstiles open.
Assuming that your ADR is earlier than that, the previous suggestion to use a blue flag boat to the Contemporary is correct. These boats begin operation at 6:45 AM. The trip to CR is about 8 minutes. The boats are about every 20 minutes. The resort monorail starts operation at 7 AM. the MK is the fourth stop from the CR. so figure about 25 minutes from CR dock to MK. You can save time bywalking to MK from CR dock in about 10 minutes.

If you drive you will have to park in MK parking lot, walk to TTC (unless trams have started operating), and the take monorail to MK. This is usually less efficient than using the boats.

Another possibility is to take a character breakfast bus to MK. Ask at Guest Services if such a bus runs from the Fort.

Back in May our boat left FW in the morning and went straight to the Magic Kingdom. On the way back it stopped at Wilderness Lodge; maybe it just makes a loop like that?
