Boat to MGM from Epcot?

Does anyone know if you can take a boat from Epcot to Disney;s MGM Studios? We are planning a day at MGM but need to go to Epcot for dinner and then back to MGM for Fantasmic. I know it sounds like a lot but that is the one way to get all the restaurants in we want to eat at. Any help please?

Yes, there is a boat that runs from the Studios to Epcot, and back again. But it makes three stops before unloading at Epcot, so allow ample time. Or if your feet are up to it, you can walk the distance.

As the previous poster mentioned, it does make three stops at other resorts, but if you have never seen them or just want to do something a little different, the boat trip is a nice change of pace.

You catch the boat at the international gateway..walking from Canada toward Great Britain...go past Great Britain..and just before the bridge stay to the right..it pulls up just past the turnstiles..I assume you do have park hopper passes right?

Yes we have hopper passes. Does anyone know approximately how long the boat ride would take to get from MGM to Epcot? Maybe an hour or so? We have never seen the resorts that it stops at and it sounds like it would be a nice time for us to put our feet up and relax. Thanks

We rode the boat (just to relax) on our trip (12-19 Jan). You need to count on approx. 30 minutes each way. Really depends on when you get to the dock and how long until the next boat (they are frequent). But planning 30 minutes will cover it.

If time becomes an issue it can be walked faster (depending on your energy level), but you would need a good knowledge of the path for a first time attempt. Any castmember would gladly direct you but it can be a little tricky if you have never done it before.
