Boat to DTD - POR or POFQ?

I have heard that you may have a wait to use the boat from POR to DTD. Is there any advantage to walking over to POFQ and using that boat since POFQ is a smaller resort? Anyone ever done this?

You may have a little wait there as well...never know. It is a pretty walk and a pretty area to wait around. Enjoy!

It depends when you go. In my experience the boat from POR has always stopped at POFQ to pick up guests there. We usually go during value season and earlier in the evening. During busy times they may each have their own boats.

When we were there in August, on our way to DTD, the captain said that if we wanted to go back to our resort, the wait time would be about an hour before we get picked up again if we wanted to head to DTD again. She said that there was a very long line at POR. This was around 8 or 9 pm.

But then there was one time where at POFQ has the long line and another boat from SSR or OKW had to fetch us! He said it wasn't his normal route.
