Boat to Beaches & Cream from MGM

We didn't spend much time at MGM last year, so I don't really know my way around there. (I do remember the lack of restaurant options!!) Is it true that you can catch a boat from MGM to go eat at Beaches & Cream? If so, where is the boat launch located? Thanks!

It's true...the boat launch is just outside of the MGM gates to the left. The boat will take you to the Swan/Dolphin, Boardwalk, Yacht/Beach then to Epcot if you're so inclined to go that far. It's a really nice ride...DS and I took the boat from MGM all the way to Epcot at Christmas. I'm not sure if the order is correct...it might be Yacht/Beach Club before Boardwalk.

We did this on our MGM day and it was nice to have a relaxing boat ride and meal before getting back to the park.

If you have never been to B&C it's great.

The boat can take a while. If its the summer we take the boat, in cooler months we walk. It takes about 12 minutes by foot. However, the boat ride is nice especially when its 95 degrees.
