Boat ride to Disney Springs?

We are staying at AKL-K. My goal for our non-park day is to go to Port Orleans / Sassagoula restaurant for breakfast (translation: we want beignets ) and then on to Disney Springs / Downtown (still having a tough time not just saying Downtown Disney ).

I was figuring my transportation would be a bus from AKL-K to MK and then a bus to PO. How long should that trip take including waiting for 2 buses?

For the trip to Disney Springs, do they still run boats from PO to Disney Springs? How long does that take and how often do they run?

1. MK is really out of the way - transfer at AK. Plan on it taking 60 to 90 minutes.

2. Yes, there's still a boat. plan on it taking around 45 minutes, including wait times.

First boat leaves POR at 10am. Make it a late breakfast.

I know...just saying what I would do. I like the boat ride so much, I would gladly do.it twice. . I would bus to DS, go directly to boat to POFQ, then boat back.

That'll work if they're okay with a very late breakfast (no earlier than 10:30 or 11:00,) but it's a lot of extra travel time.
