I'm sure it's listed around here somewhere, but I can find it. We are looking into boat rentals, specifically renting a pontoon for an hour or two. Not the speciality cruises, just for ourselves to take out (like the water sprites). Can anyone tell me if, where and how much we can rent a pontoon? Thanks!

This is from the Disney website, it does not list the prices but gives you a listing of the water craft available and the places you can rent them.

If you plan on taking out the pontoon boat and the water sprites, you may want to consider the family boat and bike plan. This gives you unlimited use of the water sprites, pontoon boats and regular bikes for either 7 or 10 days. I don't remember the duration because it has changed since we were there. We did this at the Wilderness Lodge and the kids loved it. Our "kids" are all licensed drivers so they could take the sprites out by themselves. Have fun. :moped:

We really enjoy renting the boats. We have always rented from FW - we get there by taking the boat over from the Contemporary and it drops you right at the boat rental area. The cost of a pontoon is about $35 per 1/2 hour.

Has anyone had recent experience with renting water mice at the WLV? Were there any age limitations?

I have a 15 and 17 year old and I know there were some restrictions last year (under 16). Is this still enforced?

Hi there,

We normally rent watercraft on the family plan and they do ask for the names to be over 16 to be a single rider.
