Boat rental/Recreation ideas/Parasailing/Has anyone?

Has anyone rented boats, went parasailing or planned other recreation at DW other than staying in the parks?

Was it worth the time and money?

My wife and I did the parasailing in May and we loved it! I've forgotten how much it was but it was worth it. We've been to WDW so many times and we're still trying to find things we haven't done before and parasailing was 1 of them.

Do it and enjoy the view!

Took my DD10 last year and it was great!!!!! Awesome view of the castle and MK and the cm's were so nice and helpful and sweet.Also rented one of the mini speed boats after for i think 25 bucks a half hour.That was also a lot of fun.

We have rented the small water mice and really enjoyed them. It's fun to zip along in front of the MK!

We've rented SunTracker Pontoons many times, sailed Bay Lake and the Seven Seas Lagoon, and also the waterways to DTD. This past recent trip (just back) we went wakeboarding twice with Sammy Duvall's and it was awesome. We were first-timers and managed to ride by the end of the time. (Though we have snowboarded, so this may help technique.) I highly recommend it, and the instructor was very friendly and down-to-earth.

We have:

Rented bikes at POR and WL. WL is better as you can ride over to the campgrounds. IMO

Rented a surrey at the Boardwalk

Rented mouseboats at POR and DD. POR better views IMHO.

Parasailed at Cont. BTW, I think it was $135 double when we did it in 2002.

Mini golfed many times

We still enjoy the bike riding the most!
