Boat from OKW to DTD

How long does it take to go by boat from OKW to DTD? We may be staying at OKW for the first time next year and was wondering about the transportation. Can you also take a bus to DTD? Where on the OKW property is the boat launch for DTD? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

We have tken the boat many times doesn't take long I am thinking 15 min as it no lo ger stops at ssr. It is quicker than a bus to dtd but there is a bus as well. It is in the main area where you find check in pool cs etc. It is very nice and you get to see wild life it is nice in the dark as well. One of my fav things about okw

The boat is quicker I think, but it leaves from the marina. Which is close to the main hub of the resort, where the pool, lobby, stores, Olivia's is at.

think it takes around 20 minutes -

it is close to the front desk where you check in. Once you check in - just go back outside and kept going to the left - you will see the water - that is the marina. you can rent boats here as well as take the DD bus.

love OKW - it was my favorite of the DVC resorts until they build BLT.

Relax...take a deep breath....one of our favorite things is taking the boats to DD. You will love it!
