We have never visited the boardwalk....whats to do there? Is it near the Beach Club resort????

There are some carnival type games and entertainers are periodically out. My favorite thing about the boardwalk is the Flying Fish for dinner. There are also surreys that you can rent. I personally hate those things, as many people are reckless with them in the crowd of people.

The bw is immediately across the water from the Beach Club. After dinner on the bw, you can easily take the boat, or walk around the lake to Beaches and Cream for dessert.

If you are childless, you can go to the Dueling Pianos or the Atlantic Dance Hall. ESPN also shows a number of games in the sports bar/restaurant.

The BW is lots of fun when the weather is good. Entertainers are free and really good!:teeth: My kids have participated in several of the "shows". My DD got her hair wrap done there and there is face painting, pin trading, carnival type games, shopping, food etc... We have stayed at BWI twice now and really love that whole Epcot resort area. We rented a surrey bike twice and it was great fun for us. We like to eat at ESPN and wish we had tried Spoodles for dinner (we did breakfast there twice!).

I LOVE Jellyrolls (dualing pianos bar) but that is when we were childless. I may even get a babysitter one night on our trip so we can go back!!

I love the Boardwalk area at night when it's all lit up. We park at the Boardwalk (just tell the parking lot guard that you want to walk around and he'll wave you right through.) There's a hotdog stand just inside the entrance. We got corn dogs there, and ate them while we were walking around. You can walk from there all the way around the lake to the Yacht and Beach Clubs. Get an ice cream sundae at Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club. They are HUGE!

You can also walk up to the World Showcase entrance at EPCOT. If it's time for Illuminations, you can hear it fine and see parts of it, without going into the park. (This makes it a good activity for a day you don't want to use a park pass.) There's a boat from the World Showcase entrance back to the Boardwalk, so you don't have to walk all the way back. It's free.

Next trip I want to do a character breakfast at Cape May in the Beach Club.

SOME day, when I'm rich ;) I want to stay at the Beach Club.
