Boardwalk

I am visiting family in Florida, about 1 hour from Orlando. I wanted to go walk around a little and have dinner somewhere in disney. We've never checked out the boardwalk and was thinking about going there; however, I read conflicting descriptions on the internet. Some say that the entertainers and midway games are there only thurs-Saturday and others say they are there every night. We don't really want to get there and find nothing there, so could someone let me know what is there on weekdays? Is it worth going for a couple hours?

The entertainers are out on the Boardwalk nightly from 7pm-about 9:30pm. Unfortunately, there have been cutback there too. The better entertainers were let go last summer. The ones that we saw last Sept were kind of blah. That is just my opinion. It is definitely worth your time to go see for your self. It's a wonderful atmosphere and a beautiful resort.

How about the carnival type games? I know they are a ripoff but the kids love them! Are those out nightly also?
