We have been to WDW many times and have not gone over to Boardwalk but have seen that there is some things to see and do there. Is it worth going there? what will we see there? we will be at WDW the first week of April so I am guessing something will be going on. Thank you for your help!:)

We love going to the BW, especially in the evenings! There are street magicians and jugglers, surrey rentals, shopping, and the BW Bakery! We enjoy strolling around and if you stay late enough, you may be able to see some of the EPCOT fireworks. It somewhat takes me back to my younger days at the Jersey shore:lovestruc

But when we're in EPCOT, evenings, we might exit out the gateway and stroll thru...nothing that spectacular that can't be missed for us....we've stayed at the Y&B resort a few times so we know what there is and such but nothing to draw us from another resort (say in the MK loop) to just walk thru....like I said, we exit out the gateway, walk thru and head back into EPCOT....for us nothing gained and nothing lost....it's all personal preference....

For us the BW area is great....kids love it. That being said we couldn't spend a day there with the family. It would be worth a stroll through in the evening when you visit Epcot. Or if it is an adult based theme there are some great night spots, Jelly Rolls, Bass River Brewery, ESPN, and other spots.

We get entertained after our visit to the parks. we spend another hour of so on the BW watching the performers which my kids participated with almost nightly.

I think it's worth it to go check out the boardwalk and the BWI :). We like to walk around just taking in the atmosphere and everything that goes on during the evenings. Like the pp said there are magicians, jugglers, etc that are fun to watch. The boardwalk isn't a place we would spend all day at, but it is nice for something different :goodvibes.

It is nothing that I would go out of my way for, but, it is something that we always wanted to do, so we stayed here on our last trip and it was ok. I can see where it would be great fun for families, but my girls are teenagers and found it kinda "lame" in their opinion. But, like I said we had always wanted to go over there, and now, I can say that I have. It's just one of those things that I can check off my disney check list. So, go, if for no other reason than you can say that you did.

Every night from 6:30 PM - 10:00 PM the Boardwalk has various entertainers such as Magicians, Mimes, Jugglers and etc that perform at random locations. Besides that they have some great restaurants and my favorite one is the ESPN Club, which is great if your a sports fan. Plus if there is a game you want to watch they will put it on for you, because they have over 100 total TV's.
