I currently own at OKW and Vero. I was looking an add-on at Boardwalk or Wilderness. I was curious how the facilities compared (recreation and pool wise) for kids. Mine are under 5 and they enjoyed the pool areas at OKW and especially Vero with the slide & pirate ship. If I go Boardwalk, I need to probably go resale. Vero & Wilderness are still available from Disney. Also, my guide explained that if I buy now, I get the points for 2000 and 2001 if my use year is June. How is that? Am I missing something or is this good and what about 200 taxes/maintenance

If you purchase from DVC now- you will get your June use year points from 2000 and in June- you'll get your 2001 points. If you buy 100 or more points- you can even use MB for the purchase.
Your annual fees will be prorated for 2001 on the add-on- from the purchase date. There will be no 2000 fees due at all.

VWL is a beautiful resort. Since it is combined with WL, you can use the facilities at either location. I think either BWV or VWL will be good with young children. VWL is certainly a quieter atmosphere.

Tough to make a wrong decision here! Enjoy!

Magic, We love the Bw, and have stayed in the WL a couple of times (not the villa part). WL is a great resort, It's one of our families favorites.I think getting the 2000 year points is a great sell for WL. Just bank the 2000, and you have double starting in June. If you could find a BW resale, that would be good too, but they're so hard to find. The one thing is the eleventh month window. I don't think it would too hard to find someone to trade resv one year, if you couldn't get into one or the other. Either way, you'll enjoy your choice.

If you go through a timeshare broker or the timeshare store there are always BW sales coming up all the time. When I was on the wait list I got many calls
