Hi all.

My family is now looking at possibly renting points and staying at the BWV next August.

We'll be there for 10 nights. It'll be 3 adults, 2 infants and 1 child.

Would you recommend 2 studio villas or a 2 bedroom villa?

On the 2 bedroom villa, is there more than 1 bathroom?

Personally I think that is a lot for a 2BR. If there weren't a 3rd adult you would obviously be fine. Can the 3rd adult sleep with the older child? If so, you may be ok, but with 2 infants that could also be difficult. I guess it depends upon how the families are configured. OKW is great with an infant since there is the laundry room that can fit a pack n play with a door, almost like a mini bedroom, but I don't think BWV has this.

I'd recommend the 2 bedroom. You'd have 2 bathrooms and a washer/dryer plus a full kitchen.

Just a note if you go with 2 studios, they won't be connecting.

If you want 2 bathrooms, then go with the 2 br. If you can manage with one, and one adult will sleep with one child, then you will be fine in a 1 br.

Don't forget, the main bath closes off to a side with a shower and toilet and sink, plus the other side with the tub and sink/vanity, and walk in closet. Given that it breaks down into 2 rooms (but 1 toilet) you might be ok, depending on how intimate everyone is.

also with the closet in the 2 bedroom ( 1 bedroom portion ) you could fit a pack n play in there.

I'd go with the 2 bedroom for full kitchen and laundry too.

At BWV all of the 2 bedroom villas are "lock offs". That means they consist of a 1 BR villa and a connecting studio. You will have a king bed in the master bedroom of the 1BR, a queen size pullout sofa in the living room of the 1BR and a queen bed plus a full size pullout in the studio portion. There is a large bathroom with tub and shower in separate rooms in the 1BR and a regular size bathroom in the studio.

If you go with two studios, then you will have one queen bed and a full size pullout in each studio.

Disney's public DVC website has floor plans and 360-degree room tours of the different villas at BWV: http://dvc.disney.go.com/dvc/guest/resorts/resortGuestDetail?id=BWGuestAccommodationDetailPage (Click on the link for each villa type to see the floorplan).

2 bedroom would be best. If you want to save 2 studio will be lower cost thu.

I think I'd go with the 2BR. You'll have enough beds for everyone. You'll have a separate room to put the infant down in without negatively impacting the rest of the group, you'll have 2 bathrooms, you'll have a full laundry and kitchen.

It just seems like it would make the whole trip easier.

Keep in mind too that if you book two studios you may end up with rooms on two different floors, opposite ends of the resort, etc...

The room controllers are fairly good at honoring requests, but things are not guaranteed...

Personally.. I'd go with the 2BR.. It's more points, but you have more ammenities.. Plus, you can't go wrong having that kitchen and laundry with the infants...

A two-bedroom! Let's see.....2 bathrooms, full kitchen, washer/dryer, king bed, two double sleep sofas (one may be a queen, not sure) and a queen, 3 t.v.'s, possibly three balconies. Versus.....2 queen beds, 2 double sleep sofas, 2 bathrooms, 2 televisions, 2 kitchenettes, one balcony in each unit, could be in completely different areas. Yep....go with the 2 bdrm!!!

I would most likely go with the 2 BR. The laundry situation alone (10 day trip - 3 little ones) would make it worth it to me! Also, the kids could be tucked in for the night while the parents have a place to visit and relax together after a day in the parks. This would be difficult to do in 2 studios.

I am wondering about the sleeping arrangements, however, with 3 adults - are they 3 separate parents with 3 separate kids, or one couple and a single parent, or a couple with 3 kids and a grandparent? This would be something I would have to consider when deciding if we all want to be together for 10 days or need our own space.

Definitely the 2 bedroom if the budget allows. The washer and the full kitchen are wonderful with little ones.

I wouldn't recommend to anyone to stay fri or sat - much too expensive.

in august 1-15 a 2-bedroom Sun-thurs is 40 points each night, but fri & sat it is 75 points. (standard view is 32 & 73 - but standard view is very, very hard to get)

so if you want to stay 10 nights - I would recommend Sun-thurs - but fri & sat I would go with all star music suites - okay I am cheap - then come back to BWV.

now later in August 16-31 it gets a little better 2-bedroom is Sun-thur 34 points, 72 for fri/sat (standard view 30 for sun-thurs, 68 for fri/sat)

I would go with a 2-bedroom you will need the washer/dryer not to mention the full kitchen with the infants.
