Boardwalk Villas -Our First Experience

Hello Everyone:
I cannot say enough of what a wonderful 1st experience our family had with our vacation club! We stayed at the Boardwalk Villas - preferred view. We walked in our room and was so impressed with the accomodations. One piece of advice, do not overpack. Coming from Connecticut and we heard the weather was a little chilly in Orlando, we brought everything from sweaters to long pants, etc. Remember there is a washer, dryer, therefore you can wash your clothing and rewear...We enjoyed the boardwalk because everything was there, entertainment, restaurants and we were walking distance to Hollywood Studios and Epcot. Oh and we saw a partial view of the breathtaking fireworks everynight at 9:00 p.m from our room. I am now planning our next vacation. Also, I have not been on a roller coaster in over 20 years (ok,.not that old) but became a kid again and rode space mountain, Aerosmiths and thundermountain. We have become big Disney fans and look forward to the many years of vacations ahead!

Staying for the 1st time at BWV in april...can't wait.

We stayed in a one bedroom villa. We are a family of 3. If you have 2 smaller children...the one bedroom is still sufficient as the couch is a sleeper and we told our daughter she had her own apartment. If your family of 4 needs more privacy, I would go for the 2 bedroom. The boardwalk villa was the way to go!

Stayed at BWV for the first time this year too! I loved it!! We were in a studio & it was perfect. Loved the boats to Epcot & MGM!!! The entertainment on the Boardwalk at night was good too. So much to offer!

So glad to hear you had a great time, and loved BWV. We are staying in a 2 bedroom there in Nov. for the 1st time. I can't wait. We also chose here because of the location we have older children and thought it would be a great place between the 2 parks and lots of other hotels. Thanks for your input.

So glad to hear good things about this resort, we are staying here in a 2 bedroom in August are really looking forward to it.

My only issue has to do with the fact that none of the 2 bedrooms here have 2 beds, all have a bed and a sleeper sofa. Somehow, using the same amount points and not having the same accomodations just doesn't seem right, but, I've been outvoted on where to stay this year. Besides, I still get to sleep in the big bed.
