Me, my wife, and 2 kids (1 and 4) AND my sis-in-law (25) and her fiance are planning on staying at the Boardwalk.

We have stayed at the Inn before for several nights and LOVED it. The sis-in-law has not. I'm not sure if getting 2 sep. rooms is the way to go OR getting a 2 bedroom villa with them is the better option.

Any help is appreciated.

We stayed at the Inn for years and last January did a 1 bedroom Villa. It was fabulous. I love the Boardwalk but the rooms are not that big. The Villas are great, the bathrooms the kitchen everything about it was wonderful. We were only 3 people and we had tons of room. It was also a pleasure doing laundry in the room. I have never done that on a vacation before. I don't know what the price difference is, but I would do it in heartbeat! Hope that helped.

I vote for the 2 bdrm. As mentioned, laundry w/ children is a plus. The full kitchen can't be beat (again w/ kids) With a two bedroom you will have 2 full baths. the common area living room would come in handy during nap times or late nites when someone isn't quite ready for bed. Be warned though...once people stay in the villas they usually end up at the keosk (sp) you know those little DVC booths ;) wanting to buy in. ;) Have a great time and let us know your decision.

2 connecting Inn rooms will give you about 760 sg. ft of space with a lot of it occupied by 2 queen beds and a daybed in each room. The 2BR villa will give about 1100 sg ft. The villa also gives the kitchen, a living room,w/d, large master bath, and second mini kitchen (sink, small fridge and microwave) in 2d bedroom. Unless there is a huge difference in price, I would go with the 2BR over the 2 rooms at the Inn.

The 2 bedroom does seem like it would be nicer, but it doesn't seem like there are often discounts available. In general, the rack rates for a 2 bedroom are a little bit higher than the rate for 2 Inn rooms. But if you can get a deal with a code, the rooms will probably be a lot less! I was using the calculator at ourlaughingplace.com to figure it out.

If you get the 2 BR, it makes sense for your SIL to get the master bedroom with the king bed & you to take the room with 2 beds (one might be a foldout couch). Are you going to mind them having the big bed & the big tub? I think I might! ;)

Id opt for the villa. the kicthen is a great thing to have with kids, and being able to tuck the kids in, close the door and be able to chat with your sister, without being in their bedroom, would be much more fun and comfortable for all.

Whenever I need some good advice, I know I can always count on my fellow "dis'ers".

I can almost guarantee you that I will book the 2 bedroom villa. I know it will probalby be a little more expensive, but when you facotr in the kitchen, sep. bedrooms, etc.. it sounds worth the difference.

good deals right now on rooms! I got WLV 2BR for $364 a night in the first week of Jan.We have a total of 6 2 kids and 4 kids at heart.

$364 is a great rate! The villas can be a LOT more than that! I thought I saw that full price during Regualar season was close to $700!! Since it's often possible to get an Inn room for under $200, the villas are only worth it if you can get a really good rate.

It is in the value season. They are really pushing the discount between Jan2-Feb13.
